Slow Carb

NOTE: I stopped doing this. I got bored with the limitations and figured I would just run a few more miles each week to lose some weight.
So I’m trying this slow carb diet. Remarkably the thing really works. It’s been about a week and though I haven’t lost more than a couple pounds, clothes are hanging off of me, I can feel the muscle coming through my gut, and have a remarkably greater recovery from the (mostly rowing) exercise I do.

It’s really straight forward and simple. I basically follow the ‘rules’ set forth by Tim Ferriss of 4 Hour Work Week found here. The only difference is that I throw in a little cheese here and there. How much I really don’t know as I’m not weighing anything but am guessing it’s probably the equivalent of one and half slices of cheese from a deli. Mind you this is certainly not every meal but I’ll add it to at least 1 meal per day. I ‘m also just doing 3 meals a day and no snacking. Perhaps after a month I’ll consider more closely following his plan but right now I’m satisfied enough with the results.
