That is a most excellent jingle…..Thanks for posting. Just for your information- we have the original tape that came with the car (which includes that jingle) which also has on it such hits as Africa. It is somewhere….we have to find it!
Totally!
I second that it’s the most excellent jingle! And I’m pretty sure if you go into my room, its located right behind the door… unless I have it here in LA… which could be possible. Ill look.

Found it! Tape also includes…
Neil Diamond – First You Have To Say You Love Me
Toto – Africa
Barbara Streisand – Comin’ In And Out Of Your Life
Bertie Higgins – Key Largo
Willie Nelson – Always On My Mind
Lacy J. Dalton – Takin’ It Easy
Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers – Almost Called Her Baby By Mistake
Janie Fricke – You Don’t Know Love
Champaign – Try Again
Chuck Mangione – To The Eighties
Ramsey Lewis – Up Where We Belong
Weather Report – BIrdland
Philadelphia Orchestra
– R. Strauss – Also Sprach Zarathustra
Chopin – Waltz In C Sharp Minor
Philippe Entremont – Chopin – Minute Waltz in D Flat Major
Columbia Symphony Orchestra – Hymn To The Sun From “Le Coq d’Or”
Why is it that despite all these songs all I remember are the jingle and Africa?
OK I remember Key Largo too…
Amazing! I love the classical three last songs on the second side. Toto’s Africa is such an energizing song, no one that is one of the only songs we remember. We had good taste!
You all brought a tear to my eye this Sunday morn…all very wonderful
