It’s on…

My DIY tenor sax repair dreams are becoming a reality. Just need to dry the thing out first. Still gathering data on the costs for refinishing and trying to find a similar make/model to see how much a new/functioning one costs. Mine has a serial number and I was able to trace the background of the instrument. It’s roughly 35 years old.

Check out the email from musicmedic.com. They have a kit to help with the repairs!:

– question #496884 –

Josh,

Thank you for your kind email. The sax repair kit will definitely work for your tenor. It will also walk you through the basic process of doing the repairs you need to do. If you’re case isn’t ruined I would suggest leaving it open out in the sun for a couple days to dry it out.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help in the future.

I hope this has answered your question. Do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further information. Please include the question number in the subject line of any response to this email.
